Iris - Software for eye protection, health and productivity. By default, Iris works automatically and detects whether it is day or night. On the basis that it will change the color temperature of the screen and brightness. When you open the program control panel you can select different modes and types of Iris.
2 Iris most popular things that probably brought you here are:
- You can decrease the amount of blue light emitted from the screen
- Check the PWM brightness flicker.
There are several different ways and several different types of iris. This is basically some many people use preset values. Apart from this, you can customize Iris lot. I know it can be a little difficult for non - technical people, but I'm doing everything possible to make it as easy to use as possible.
Some of the benefits of Iris over competitors is that Iris works even in docking stations and monitors connected to USB with the help of my custom color high - level API, it has a range of colors to reduce blue light actually larger in compared to all other alternatives, without brightness pulse width modulation, manual adjustments, color effects, font rendering, enlargement and reduction of partial light blue screen with the help of full - screen overlays.
If for some reason you do not like Iris you can check f.lux, Twilight, Night Shift, Night Light and Redshift, which are some good alternatives to reduce blue light.
What's New in Version 0.8.9
